Biden Administration Bans Terms Such as ‘Illegal Alien’ and ‘Assimilation’ with Border Agents

If you have been kicked off of Twitter or suspended from Facebook or Instagram, prepare for your next battle. Guidelines have been set by the Biden administration to eliminate common phrases such as “illegal aliens.” The “recommendations” were issued by memos from the Customs and Border Protection as well as Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Recommendations in the memos state agents should not refer to migrants as “aliens” or “illegal aliens” because it’s offensive. Instead, “non-citizen,” “migrant,” “undocumented noncitizen” or “undocumented individual” should be used.

Reportedly the memos circulated at the request of the administration because some government officials and employees of CBP and ICE used the discriminatory phrases in press releases and elsewhere.

Administration critics believe the demands are unnecessary, such as Republican Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas who said “we use the term ‘illegal alien’ because they’re here illegally. This kind of weakness and obsession with political correctness is why we’re having a crisis on the border in the first place.”

Also under the new guidelines “unaccompanied alien children” are to be referred to as “unaccompanied non-citizen children” and employees are to describe “assimilation” of refugees and immigrants as “civic integration.”

The rhetoric used to describe individuals attempting to enter the United States is the least of our problems. As Biden reverses each measure put in place by the Trump administration, more and more migrants feel the time is ripe to be accepted into the United States without consequences.

Hundreds of immigrants at the border were photographed wearing t-shirts that read “BIDEN PLEASE LET US IN!” Of course, the Biden administration takes zero responsibility in creating an inviting environment. Administration officials blame the record-breaking number of illegal aliens crossing the border on the weather. That’s right, they blamed two recent hurricanes that struck Central America.

In addition to weather and natural disasters, the administration naturally included the COVID-19 global pandemic, and of course, Donald Trump as culprits as well.
