Hollywood and liberal elites implement a strict zero-tolerance policy and demand that victims of sexual harassment are always to be believed, no questions asked. There is, however, one exception to their morality rule: victims of Democratic aggressors do not apply.

No, if an alleged victim comes out against a Democrat, she must undergo painful scrutiny, ridicule and a trial of public opinion to prove herself. Even then, the coveted “D” word means it’s more important that they stay in politics to keep fighting the good fight against the bad Republicans.

And now the Democratic party is doing its damnedest to elect Biden, a man whose alleged victims were not given the time of day by Biden’s peers, nor the doting media. It’s no wonder, then, that “Democratic Delaware Senator Tom Carper, who once admitted hitting his wife in the face, cast the final nominating vote for former Vice President Joe Biden at the Democratic National Convention Tuesday night” reported Daily Caller.

Keeping in the tradition of the final votes coming from the nominee’s state, Carper, along with fellow Democrat Delaware Gov. John Carney cast the final votes. “Our nation faces daunting challenges but I have known Joe Biden for 40 years and there is nobody I trust more to lead our party, unite our country and restore our standing in the world,” said Carper.

Such nice words coming from a man who left his ex-wife with “some discoloration of her left eye and some puffiness” as a result of the violent act according to the deposition. At least he has no plans on doing it again. “Did I slap my wife 20 years ago? Yes”, said Carper in a 1998 interview. “Do I regret it? Yes. Would I do it again? No” he added.
