Inspector General Report Finds Whistleblower Had 'Political Bias' In Favor Of 'Rival Candidate'

The Trump administration announced late Tuesday that it is releasing an inspector general report on the whistleblower complaint that has driven the latest Democrats’ demands for impeachment which found that the whistleblower had a bias in favor of Trump’s political opponents.
According to Fox News, “A senior Trump administration official told Fox News late Tuesday that the administration will release a document showing the intelligence community inspector general found the whistleblower who leveled an explosive accusation against President Trump concerning his talks with Ukraine had ‘political bias’ in favor of ‘a rival candidate’ of the president. The official did not identify the name of the rival candidate.

Separately, a senior administration official told Fox News the White House has been working as quickly as it can to release to Congress the whistleblower complaint involving President Trump’s conversations with the leader of Ukraine, as long as it’s legally possible.”
This announcement comes just hours after Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said that the Democrats were launching a formal impeachment inquiry into the president’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This formal impeachment inquiry was launched on the grounds of an anonymous secondhand complaint that they have not seen, which describes a phone call for which they have not read the transcript.
In response to the Democrats’ push for impeachment, the administration said it will release the full unredacted transcript of the phone call with Ukraine, the whistleblower complaint, the inspector general report over the whistleblower complaint, and it will allow the whistleblower to testify in front of Congress.
The contents of the call and the whistleblower complaint should disprove the Democrats’ accusations that Trump threatened to withhold aid from Ukraine unless it investigated Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Keep in mind, Democratic candidate frontrunner and former vice president, Joe Biden admitted on camera that he threatened aid to Ukraine if it did not fire its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Hunter Biden’s employment at the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings.
