The group describes themselves as anti-fascist and whose main goal is fighting “economic power at its core.” The group loudly chanted ‘Drop out Joe’ to the Vice President and he rushed to his waiting car. You can watch the incident above ☝️
The group stated in December 2019 that they have “Biden, Warren, and Sanders supporters” all as active members. In the last two months, with Vice President Biden’s nosedive in the Iowa caucus and 5th place finish in New Hampshire, it appears the group’s stance on Biden has changed.
The video of them heckling Biden was captioned, “We had a message: DROP OUT JOE! You don’t have to do this Joe. You can skip Nevada. You can skip South Carolina. And go straight home to Delaware.”
Previous Tweets from the group have celebrated Amazon backing out of a deal to build a second headquarters in Long Island City, as well as supporting the “Green New Deal.”
The website Mediaite has reached out for comments from the group, but at the time of this publication, they have not received a response.
