When it comes to democracy, the Judge’s vote counts for one, just like all other citizens. However, if she did have her way, she has made it very clear that Bloomberg would be the next President of the United States.
Judge Judy threw her full-weighted support behind Bloomberg immediately after he announced his candidacy when she was a panelist on “The View.” The New York judge defended New York City’s former Mayor saying, “when I looked at the field of 2020 candidates, for one reason or another, although I’m sure they’re all very nice people, there was no other voice for me other than a voice of someone who has experience in governance.”
Touting Bloomberg’s experience, Judy said: “New York City has the most diverse population of any place else in the United States of America…things were run effectively and efficiently during his 12 years as mayor…he’s a brilliant, self-made guy who runs and manages thousands of people, and has for 30 years.”
Indeed, Bloomberg has managed thousands of people, although the number of sexual harassment claims and non-disclosure agreements might imply his leadership was not so “effective” and “efficient.” However, the Judge is keenly aware of the danger Bernie Sanders’ policies would have on the wellbeing of the United States.
While campaigning with Bloomberg in Oklahoma City, Judge Judy said, “America doesn’t need a revolution…It’s the most perfect country in the world and those people that are trying to change it and revolutionize it, don’t have a chance, because I’ll fight them to the death.” While we can’t blame her there, she may want to take a deeper look into the businessman’s past comments and failed policies before claiming he has the ability to run “the most perfect country in the world.”
