According to a new book, even some in the White House agree with negative sentiments about the women of the progressive ‘squad’ members of Congress. In fact, they are so disliked, the White House Office of Public Engagement director and senior adviser Cedric Richmond referred to at least two of the members of “the squad” as “f—ing idiots.”
Fox news Digital obtained an excerpt of the upcoming book “This Will Not Pass: Trump, Bide, and the Battle for America’s Future” by Alexander Burns and Jonathan Martin. Richmond, a former House member, made the comments about Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), to a friend, reports Fox News Digital.
Fox News reports, “according to the book, which will be released next Tuesday, Richmond was the most vocal of President Biden’s advisers, who were preparing for a progressive party mutiny, blasted the Democrats’ left wing for misreading the 2020 campaign results and not having political savviness in a phone call to a Louisiana ally after his appointment was announced.”
When members of the Squad criticized Republicans, of course, but also Democrats for not being progressive enough with the COVID stimulus bills, Counselor to the President Steven Ricchetti also had a few comments about the ladies of the ‘Squad.’
Ricchetti told a “Capitol Hill Biden ally” that the “problem with the left is they don’t understand that they lost.”
Excerpts of the book also cover the well-known tension between First Lady Jill Biden and now Vice President Kamala Harris. The First Lady was frustrated when she came to learn Harris was being tapped as VP after her attacks against Biden during primary debates.
“There are millions of people in the United States…why, ‘do we have to choose the one who attacked Joe” the authors of the book wrote about a conversation Jill had just after learning Harris was a leading contender for Biden’s running mate.
