Stone is still a convicted felon Mueller maintained in the op-ed, stating:

“Congress also investigated and sought information from Stone. A jury later determined he lied repeatedly to members of Congress. He lied about the identity of his intermediary to WikiLeaks. He lied about the existence of written communications with his intermediary. He lied by denying he had communicated with the Trump campaign about the timing of WikiLeaks’ releases…And he tampered with a witness, imploring him to stonewall Congress.”

Mueller got awfully defensive, awfully fast. Democrats of the Senate Judiciary have already called for Mueller to testify, and in light of Mueller’s op-ed, the committee’s chairman, Republican Senator Lindsay Graham, announced Sunday he will grant the request.

Senator Graham took to Twitter to say, “Apparently Mr. Mueller is willing – and also capable – of defending the Mueller investigation through an op-ed in the Washington Post…Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have previously requested Mr. Mueller to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about his investigation. That request will be granted” the Senator added.

Graham took to Twitter to express his support of Stone’s commute on July 10th, Graham wrote:

Graham shortly followed his initial tweet with another: “Equally important: Over time we learn how biased and corrupt Crossfire Hurricane and the Mueller probes were.”

Looks like Graham is thrilled to go head to head with Mueller over “lies” and “obstruction of Congress.”
