In the interview, Dowd told Jarrett It looked like Mueller knew there was “nothing there” with regards to a Russia collusion, and therefore was a critical part of a “monstrous lie and scheme to defraud.”

Jarrett said Dowd made the comparison to what Comey did to Flynn. Dowd “was led to believe it was all about collusion, so “Dowd voluntarily produced 35 witnesses, more than a million pages of documents.”

However, in a “pivotal meeting” March 5, 2018 Mueller “confesses to Dowd, ‘yeah there’s no collusion here” Dowd relayed to Jarrett in the interview. Jarrett reminds us that occurred an entire year before Mueller produced his report.

Jarrett said it was when Mueller claimed he was “looking into obstruction of justice” and wanted to interview the President that Dowd realized he’d been “misled and lied to.” He called it a “monstrous lie” and “scheme to defraud.”
