Twelve witnesses over the course of two weeks participated in public impeachment hearings. Although the left-wing media and Democrats have been claiming victory, and that they successfully showed that President Trump should be impeached, the hearings actually showed that President Trump did not commit any impeachable offenses.
While all of the witnesses admitted that they did not have evidence of a quid pro quo, and all admitted that they actually did not have direct knowledge of any relevant facts, they were not the stars of the impeachment hearings. Representative Mike Turner, Representative Elise Stefanik, and Representative Jim Jordan were the stars of the impeachment hearings.
With their line of questioning, they were able to show that this “impeachment inquiry” is really just a last-ditch effort to try to hurt President Trump’s 2020 re-election.
It would be wise for Rep. Schiff to cut his losses and cancel any plans for any more depositions or public hearings. The impeachment hoax is dead.
