Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Tuesday that he will be launching a “Book of Executioners” to highlight and provide evidence of the war crimes committed against them during the Russian invasion.

In a video address, Zelenskyy said “next week, a special publication is to be launched –‘The Book of Executioners’ – an information system to collect confirmation of data about war criminals, criminals from the Russian army.”

“These are concrete facts about concrete individuals guilty of concrete cruel crimes against Ukrainians” Zelenskyy continued. He then mentioned the Kyiv suburb of Bucha, where investigators found evidence of mass executions.

Zelenskyy’s hope is that the “Book” will be “a key element in his longstanding pledge to bring to account Russian servicemen who have committed what Ukrainian authorities have described as murders, rape, and looting” reports Newsmax.

Russia claims it has purposely avoided civilian targets during what they call the “special military operation” against Ukraine. Russian officials have also dismissed photographic evidence of the horrors that have allegedly occurred in Bucha, claiming they are “fabrications” staged by Ukrainian authorities after Russian forces “left.”
